
Nailers Sign Forward Cedrick Bernier

WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers, the $B!F(BAA$B!G(B affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, have signed forward Cedrick Bernier, it was announced today by team President Jim Brooks. As per club policy, no further terms were disclosed.
"We are pleased to have Cedrick join the Nailers.$B!I(B Said Head Coach Greg Puhalski. $B!H(BHis competitive spirit will be a positive influence for our team and he is excited to get the new season under way in Wheeling."
Bernier, 24, a native of Beauport City, PQ, scored 5 points (3 goals, 2 assists) in 33 games last season while playing for Arizona in the CHL. The 6-2, 210 pound forward also posted 229 penalty minutes in 2007-08.
