Wheeling Nailers News Release
Wheeling, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, the 'AA' affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, announce today that they have re-signed forward Jordan Cameron. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 24-year-old Drayton Valley, Alberta native returns for his second season with the Nailers and his fourth overall in the ECHL.
"I think we have a lot of offensive talent coming back this year," Cameron said. "There's no reason why we shouldn't be one of the top teams in the league."
In 68 games, the 6-foot-1, 210-pound forward scored 25 goals and registered 33 assists for a total of 58 points, good for third on the team.
"He proved last year that he is a gifted goal scorer," head coach Glenn Patrick said. "We expect him to be a big part of our offense this season."
Individual game tickets are on sale now. They are available for purchase at the Nailers team store located in their office at 1315 Main St. in downtown Wheeling, by calling 304-234-GOAL or online at www.WheelingNailers.com.
