ECHL Names LeagueStat.com Official Statistician

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced Tuesday that LeagueStat.com will be the official
statistician beginning in 2006-07.
LeagueStat.com is the official statistician for the American Hockey League
as well as the Ontario Hockey League and Hockey Canada.
"The ECHL is excited about its partnership with LeagueStat.com that is
going to provide our fans faster and more up-to-date scores and
statistics," said ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna. "The LeagueStat program
has a broader package of real-time statistics and upon implementation will
be more user friendly for our off-ice officials."
LeagueStat.com is an intuitive online score and statistical tracking system
where scorekeepers at each game enter data directly into the league
database at which time it becomes instantly available to fans, media and
teams.
