OMAHA, NE - One of the biggest nights of the season, NAIFA Fireworks, is coming up Friday, June 5th at 7:05 p.m., when the Royals host the Round Rock Express at Rosenblatt Stadium. The eight-game home stand opens on Tuesday, June 2nd with a 7:05 p.m. game, when Omaha starter Luke Hochevar (5-1, 1.17) will try to keep his brilliant season on track vs. the Express. These exciting promotions are scheduled for the upcoming pair of four-game series vs. Round Rock and Nashville:

Tuesday, June 2, 7:05 p.m.: It's Valpak 2-Buck 2uesday: General Admission tickets are only 2 bucks! The night is also presented by CD 105.9 and The Reader.

Wednesday, June 3, 7:05 p.m.: It's Subway Kids Eat Free Night: the 1st 100 kids 12-and-under receive a free personal Subway pizza and all kids after that get a free hot dog and Coke. Subway Kids Club members get a FREE ticket to the game! Plus, it's Transformers Night, with the Royals giving away Transformers DVD sets. The night is also presented by Star 104.5, KXVO-CW 15 and The West O, the Midtown O and the Sarpy Sun Newspapers.

Thursday, June 4, 7:05 p.m.: It's Thirsty Thursday! Enjoy $1 beers and Cokes, presented by 96.1 The Brew, Action 3 News and the City Weekly.

Friday, June 5, 7:05 p.m.: It's NAIFA Fireworks! Plus, Info USA presents the Bucket Boys, who play five-gallon plastic buckets in amazing between-innings performances. It's also another U.S. Cellular Dreams Come True Night: register at area U.S. Cellular locations to win the opportunity to be on the field for batting practice, throw out a ceremonial first pitch and start the fireworks! Plus, fans are asked to bring a new hat to the game to toss onto the field for Katie's Cap Toss - with the hats to be given to cancer patients at Children's Hospital. The night is also presented by 99.9 KGOR, KETV and the City Weekly.

Saturday, June 6, 7:05 p.m.: The national entertainment act BirdZerk! performs during the series opener vs. Nashville, presented by Stay in the Game, Get Screened for Colon Cancer. The Royals will be wearing baby blue jerseys and caps, which will be auctioned to fans after the game, with all proceeds going to the Nebraska Colon Cancer Screening Program. Plus, the Iowa Speedway will be on hand with their winner's circle, a race-ready Indy car, tickets giveaways for June 20th and 21st, and more. The night is also presented by The Big O! 101.9, WOWT and The Reader.

Sunday, June 7, 1:35 p.m. DOUBLEHEADER: It's the annual Military Appreciation Day and when stadium gates open at 12:30 the 1st 1,000 fans receive a photo frame in the shape of Rosenblatt's scoreboard, presented by Lockheed Martin. It's also U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with clowns, face painting and balloon art, plus after the doubleheader all kids are invited to run the bases with Casey! Subway Kids Club members receive a FREE ticket to the twinbill! Plus, any fan bringing an Our Family Brand food item to the stadium gets a FREE G.A. ticket, with all canned goods going to the Open Door Mission. The day is also presented by KGBI 100.7 FM and Cox Communications.

Monday, June 8, 12:05 p.m.: Come to the ballpark for ½-price Omaha Steaks burgers and help send the Royals off on the longest road trip in all of baseball! The day is also presented by 1110 KFAB.
