
Mystics Sign Stacey Lovelace

Washington, D.C. - Washington Mystics General Manager Linda Hargrove announced today that the team has signed Forward Stacey Lovelace as a free agent. A 6-4 player from Purdue, Lovelace spent the 2006 season with the Chicago Sky. She averaged career-highs in points per game (7.4) and rebounds per game (4.0).
"Stacey is a versatile post player that brings a lot of experience to our team," said General Manager Linda Hargrove. "We look for her to give our team some added depth inside."
Prior to joining the Sky, Lovelace was a member of the Seattle Storm and the Minnesota Lynx. She also spent three seasons with the Atlanta and New England franchises of the American Basketball League (ABL). Lovelace-Tolbert has spent time playing overseas in France.
