
Mystics Sign Gustafson and Walker-Kimbrough

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Washington Mystics announced today that they have signed center Megan Gustafson and guard Shatori Walker-Kimbrough to seven-day contracts.
Gustafson (6-3, 195) was originally signed by Washington on June 21 after the Mystics were granted a hardship by the WNBA and was waived by the team on June 28. She appeared in three games with the Mystics this season, averaging 4.0 points and 4.7 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game. In 37 career games with Dallas and Washington, the 23-year-old holds career averages of 2.7 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.
Walker-Kimbrough (5'9, 140) returns to the Mystics following appearances with Phoenix and Connecticut. Walker-Kimbrough, a member of the 2019 Mystics Championship Team, has appeared in one game this season with Connecticut. Over three seasons with Washington (2017-2019), she holds averages of 5.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 80 games (10 starts) played. Last season, the fifth-year guard posted career highs with Phoenix (21 games, 10 starts), averaging 7.3 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 19.0 minutes per game. In 102 career games (20 starts) with Washington, Phoenix and Connecticut, she holds averages of 5.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game.
Walker-Kimbrough was selected with sixth overall pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft by Washington. She will wear number 32 for the Mystics.
Washington's roster stands at 12.
