WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Washington Mystics announced today that the team has signed forward Emily Engstler to a training camp contract.

"Emily demonstrated in our training camp last year the ability to play both forward positions," said Mystics General Manager Mike Thibault. "She has continued to expand her offensive game while remaining an excellent rebounder, an area we hope to vastly improve in as a team this coming season. We are excited about the growth she has ahead of her."

Engstler has appeared in 47 career games (six starts) across two seasons with Indiana and Minnesota, recording averages of 4.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. During the 2023 season, she averaged 1.8 points and 2.4 rebounds in 12 games for the Lynx. The Louisville product was also a member of the Mystics' training camp roster ahead of the 2023 season.

The Queens, NY, native was selected with the fourth overall pick by the Fever in the 2022 WNBA Draft.
