Washington, D.C. - The Washington Mystics have selected its final roster for the 2007 WNBA season. The following players are on the team:

"I'm very excited about our roster." said General Manager Linda Hargrove. "I think we've got experience and we've got young players that are going to have a chance to develop under some veterans. I think we've got some depth at every position, and I think we've got some size and quickness. I like our roster. I think it's been a very competitive training camp, and it is always difficult to make the last cut, but I think we have put a really good group together."
The Mystics will tip off its tenth season on Saturday May 19th at 6:00 p.m. when the team hosts conference rival, Connecticut Sun.
Prior to the game, the Mystics will host a Street Festival from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on F Street. The festival will feature a variety of fun activities for kids, including face painters, an arts and craft area and a Pop-A-Shot basketball game. Former Mystics player, Nikki McCray will sign autographs from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. In addition, the Mystics Mayhem will perform, as well as local groups including the Washington Showstoppers Marching Band; Eastern High School Marching Band; and Shock Wave Washington, DC. Mystics President and Managing Partner, Sheila Johnson along with the entire 2007 Washington Mystics team will come out to address the crowd
Washington will be the host of the 2007 WNBA All- Star game on July 15th. Season tickets, partial plans and All-Star tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling the Mystics Sales Office at 1-877-DC-HOOP1 or by visiting the Mystics web site at www.washingtonmystics.com.
