Carolina Mudcats News Release
Zebulon, NC --- The Florida Marlins have made two roster moves impacting their Double-A affiliate Carolina Mudcats in the Southern League effective prior to tonight's series opener against the Chattanooga Lookouts.
RHP Carlos Martinez has completed his major league rehab stint with the Marlins, and has been activated from the 60-day disabled list and optioned to the Mudcats. Additionally, RHP Mauro Zarate has been promoted back to the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes.
The moves maintain the Mudcats at the S.L. limit of 24 players. RHP Josh Johnson continues his major league rehab stint tonight starting against the Lookouts.
