Mudcats Release Opening Day Roster

Carolina Mudcats News Release
Zebulon, NC --- With the regular season opener just three days away, the Carolina Mudcats have released their Opening Day roster for the 2006 regular season.
Luis Dorante will skipper the Mudcats in 2006, and be armed with a wealth of Florida Marlins minor league talent, along with a healthy dose of experienced Double-A players.
Carolina's roster features three current members of the Marlins' 40-man roster, including pitchers Adam Bostick, Scott Tyler and Anibal Sanchez.
The Mudcats will open the regular season Thursday night in Mobile, AL against the BayBears, which starts a season-opening 10-game road trip. Carolina will commence the home slate on April 16th at Five County Stadium against the Jacksonville Suns at 2:00 PM ET.
