Mudcats, Blue Rocks Washed Out

Carolina Mudcats News Release

The Carolina Mudcats' scheduled game with the Wilmington Blue Rocks on Friday, June 22, at Five County Stadium was postponed due to lingering rain and thunderstorms. The team will make the contest up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, June 23.

The teams will play two seven-inning games with 30 minutes between. Game one is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. first pitch. The gates will open at 4:30.

The Mudcats have suffered six rainouts this year, and four at home. The team is 2-8 in twinbills.

Carolina will give away umbrellas to the first 1,200 fans ages 21 and older. Tickets are available by calling the box office at 919-269-2287 or visiting carolinamudcats.com.
