Mudcats and Dash Postponed Due to Power Outage in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Tonight's game between the Carolina Mudcats and Winston-Salem Dash at BB&T Ballpark in Winston-Salem, NC has been postponed due to a power outage resulting from inclement weather and heavy rain at BB&T Ballpark. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, with two seven-inning games beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Winston-Salem.

The postponement comes in the middle of Carolina's four game road trip through Winston-Salem as Friday's game was scheduled as game three of the four game set. The series and road trip will now conclude with games three and four on Saturday beginning at 5:00 p.m. at BB&T Ballpark.

The Carolina Mudcats next return home to Five County Stadium on Sunday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. for a new seven game, eight day, home stand featuring fun promotions including Wake Med $5 Five County Family Sunday, B.O.G.O. Monday, House Autry All-You-Can-Eat Tuesday, Thirsty Thursday with Carolina Micro Brews Night, House Autry Friday Night Fireworks and Carolina Beach Music Night featuring a Mudcats themed Hawaiian Shirt Giveaway.

The new home stand also features three games versus the Frederick Keys beginning on Sunday, June 2, a scheduled off-day on Wednesday, June 5 and four games versus the Salem Red Sox beginning on Thursday, June 6.
