Mudbugs Announce 19-Man Playoff Roster

Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs today announced the 19-man roster for their run at the 2010 CHL Ray Miron President's Cup Championship. The playoff roster includes ten forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders. 13 of the players started the season with the Mudbugs and the other six joined the club during the 2009-10 season.

In addition to the 19 players on the current roster, Bossier-Shreveport can also choose to add two amateur players for the postseason. Amateurs are players without prior professional experience who can be brought in at time during the playoffs.
The Mudbugs will start their playoff run in the Northern Conference Semifinals with a best-of-seven series against the Colorado Eagles. Game 1 is set for 8:05 pm Central Time Friday night at the Budweiser Events Center, with radio coverage starting at 7:45 on News Radio 710 AM KEEL. Game 2 will follow Saturday night on AM 1130 KWKH.
The series will then shift to Bossier-Shreveport for Game 3 on Tuesday, March 30 at the CenturyTel Center. The 'Bugs will also host Games 4 and 5 (if necessary) on Thursday and Friday, April 1 and 2.
