Luis Ramirez suffered his first blown save of the season, as the Batavia Muckdogs came form behind in the bottom of the 9th inning to beat the Crosscutters. Ramirez took his second loss of the year.
Ethan Lindow was solid in his second start of the season, working five shutout innings. Lindow worked around three walks and three hits while striking out five Batavia batters in his second straight no decision.
Matt Vierling finished the night 3 for 5 at the plate, with three singles and a RBI. Keudy Bocio also recorded a multi-hit night finishing 2 for 4 with a RBI.
Oscar Marcelino struggled in relief, allowing three runs on two hits and two walks while failing to record a single out.
Crosscutters pitchers had their consecutive scoreless inning streak snapped at 26 innings, when Batavia plated their first run in the 8th inning against Marcelino. Crosscutters starters have not allowed a run over their last 28 innings.
