Moyer, Leveille Lead Jacks to 7-3 Win

(Amarillo, TX) - Russ Moyer and Dominic Leveille combined for nine points (three goals, six assists) as the Jacks picked up their 12th road win of the season, 7-3, over Amarillo on Saturday night at the Amarillo Civic Center.

After starting the second period of the game in a 2-2 tie, the Jackalopes scored four unanswered goals to open up a 6-2 lead entering the third. Leveille, Brian Swiniarski, and Kory Karlander all netted Odessa goals along with Russ Moyer - who added a power play goal at 18:41 of the second to give him a pair of goals for the game.

Amarillo's Michael Handza and Odessa's Jean Bourbeau each added third period goals to make the final score 7-3. Russ Moyer set a new season high with five points in the game (two goals, three assists) for a Jackalopes player.

The Jackalopes wrap up their three-in-three weekend Sunday afternoon against New Mexico at the Santa Ana Star Center at 4:15 PM, Central Time. The game can be heard on 97 Gold.
