
Motor City Mechanics invite fans Pick Your Seat Day

REDFORD, MICH. â Following on the success of its first run, the Motor City Mechanics and Head Coach Garry Unger will host their second "Pick Your Seat Day" giving local area hockey fans the opportunity to purchase season tickets and test drive their seats for the season. Pick Your Seat Day (the sequel) will be held on August 26, 2004 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Great Lakes Sports City Superior Arena located at 34400 Utica Road in Fraser, Mich.
Pick Your Seat Day will also coincide with the final day of Coach Unger's Prospect Camp. Attendees arriving early will have an opportunity to see hockey hopefuls in action and possibly witness players who will have a spot on the Mechanics' 2004/05 team roster. The Mechanics play 40 home games this season. Tickets can be purchased in mini, half or full season packages.
Ticket buyers who purchase a full season ticket package will receive a free Motor City Mechanics replica team jersey (various sizes available). The Mechanics' 80-game season opens at home on October 15th, against the Michigan-based Kalamazoo Wings. Additional ticket information can be obtained by calling 866-997-PUCK (7825).
