
Motor City Cruise Re-Acquire Shawndre Jones

DETROIT - The Motor City Cruise, G League affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, announced today they re-acquired guard ShawnDre Jones. In a related move, the Motor City Cruise waived guard Malique Jacobs.
Jones (6'0", 170 lbs) spent the past two seasons with the Motor City Cruise and played a total of 88 games between the showcase and regular season, averaging 8.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 22.4 minutes per game. In his four-year G League career with the Cruise, Nashville and Cleveland, Jones is averaging 8.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 21.0 minutes per game.
During Motor City's inaugural season, Jones was awarded the NBA G League Community Assist Award, which honors a player's extensive commitment to positively impacting the community through sustained efforts.
Born in Houston, Texas, Jones played collegiately at Richmond University for four years, averaging 12.2 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 28.7 minutes per game.
The Motor City Cruise will face the Wisconsin Herd tomorrow, on Thursday, November 30 at Wayne State Fieldhouse (Detroit, Michigan). Tip-off is slated for 7:00pm ET. The game can be seen on "The PREP" live stream at https://www.theprepsports.com.
