
Moscevsky Assigned To Barons

CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Barons announced today that they have been assigned left wing Yuri Moscevsky (moh-SHEV-skee) from San Jose. Wayne Thomas, General Manager of the Cleveland Barons, made the announcement. The six-foot-four, 220-pound native of Yorba Linda, California spent last season with the Barons. In 65 games, Moscevsky scored one goal and two assists. The forward was fourth among AHL rookies with 22 major penalties.
Yuri is expected to join the team for the exhibition schedule that begins on Friday in Rochester. After back-to-back games in Rochester on Friday and Saturday, the Barons conclude their exhibition schedule against the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks on Sunday, October 5th at IceLand USA in Strongsville at 2:00pm. For ticket information, call the Barons front office at 216-420-0000. Moscevsky was signed by the Sharks on June 30, 2003. The Barons open up the season at home on October 11th at 7:00pm.
