Adirondack Phantoms News Release
In an effort to paint the town purple, the Philadelphia Phantoms hockey team unveils new Purple People Greeters, a team of purple-painted individuals who will visit various locations throughout the Philadelphia-region to promote the team's home opener on Friday, Oct. 10, as well as all regular-season games at the Wachovia Spectrum.
While cameras are rolling, individuals will paint their bodies from head-to-toe in purple. Media is encouraged to join the Purple People Greeters for a Purple Lunch, including grapes, plums, eggplant, jam sandwiches on purple bread and grape juice.
