Norfolk Admirals News Release


22nd Annual Norfolk SPCA Dog Walk: Saturday, October 4 at Stockley Gardens in Norfolk's Historic Ghent. Mascot Salty will join the other dogs participating in this annual SPCA event starting at 11:00 a.m.

Buddy Walk: Saturday, October 4 at the ODU Fieldhouse. Salty will continue walking at this Tidewater Down Syndrome Association event to promote awareness and inclusion of people with Down syndrome, co-sponsored by the ODU Lady Monarchs basketball team. The Buddy Walk begins at 1:00 p.m.

Light the Night Walk: Saturday, October 4 at the 25th Street Park at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Hat Trick will appear at this event to benefit the Virginia Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.

11th Annual Kiwanis Harbor Party and Seafood Fest: Thursday, October 9 at the Nauticus Pavilion in Norfolk. The Admirals are sponsors for this Kiwanis Club of Norfolk event to benefit local children's charities. The Harbor Party takes place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

America's Walk for Diabetes: Saturday, October 11 at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. The Admirals will have an information table set up, and Hat Trick will pay a visit for this American Diabetes Association event. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 10:00 a.m.

HRYHA Jr. Admirals Golf Tournament: Tuesday, October 14 at Cypress Point Country Club in Virginia Beach. The Admirals are proud to once again sponsor and participate in the Hampton Roads Youth Hockey Association's annual tournament.
