Morlang Back Again

ALBANY, NY - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have re-signed right wing John Morlang to a professional tryout contract.

Including training camp last fall, this will be Morlang's seventh tour of duty with the Sound Tigers. He has two goals, five assists, seven points and 15 penalty minutes in 24 AHL games with the Sound Tigers, as well as 14 goals, 20 assists, 34 points and 40 penalty minutes in 35 games with the United Hockey League's Danbury Trashers this season.

The Sound Tigers will host the Albany River Rats tonight at 7:30 p.m. and host the Portland Pirates tomorrow at 4:05 p.m.
