Morin Nets Four En-Route To Rangers 4-2 Win

For the second game in-a-row Jeremy Morin led the Kitchener Rangers to the win.

Morin scored the game opener after he beat Greyhounds netminder Robin Lehner high to the blocker side at the 9:18 mark of the first period. The Rangers outshot the Greyhounds 14-10 in the first period.

Morin netted the lone goal in the second period at the 11:21 mark, his seventh on the season and second of the game. Kitchener continued to outshoot Sault Ste. Marie doubling up on their 10 shots with 20 on the Greyhounds net.

With his second hat-trick in four days, Morin gets the Rangers first power play goal of the game to put Kitchener up 3-0. James Livingston put an end to the Rangers shutout bid after burying the puck at the 15:55 mark. Sault Ste. Marie's Brett Thompson decreased Kitchener's lead by one with just 38 seconds left on the clock. Morin closed out scoring 4-2 with his fourth goal on the Greyhounds empty net.

The Rangers travel to Erie on Wednesday, October 14th to face the Otters at 7:00pm. They return to The Aud on Friday, October 16 when they will face the Sarnia Sting. Game time is 7:30pm.
