Moreno Rejoins Cougars

Bowling Green, Ky. - The Kane County Cougars, in conjunction with the Kansas City Royals, announced today that infielder Henry Moreno has been promoted from Rookie Level Burlington to join the Cougars prior to Wednesday's game against the Bowling Green Hot Rods.
Moreno began the season with the Cougars and hit .200 in 20 contests while driving in 11 runs to go with seven doubles. Moreno also spent time with the Burlington Royals and posted a .375 average with three homers and nine RBI before his promotion to Kane County.
