
Lansing/Beloit rained out, twinbill Thursday

BELOIT, Wisc. - The opener of a three-game series between the Lansing Lugnuts (15-9, 62-31) and Beloit Snappers (10-14, 49-45) was postponed due to rain on Wednesday night at Pohlman Field.
The ballgame will be made up on Thursday night as part of a doubleheader starting at 6:30 p.m. ET. Each game is set for seven innings.
Lugnuts righty Aaron Sanchez (8-1, 1.41) is set to throw in game one opposed by Snappers lefty Jason Wheeler (10-4, 3.81). Lansing will send Blake McFarland (4-2, 4.21) to the mound in game two against Beloit's David Hurlbut (3-3, 2.58).
Lansing returns home on a Summer Fun Day, Wednesday, July 25th, opening a six-game homestand at Cooley Law School Stadium. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.lansinglugnuts.com, at the stadium box office, and by calling 517-485-4500.
