
Moose Sign Keane to PTO; Release Centomo from PTO

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have signed forward and captain Mike Keane to a second pro tryout contract and also released goaltender Sebastien Centomo from his PTO.
Keane, 38, has played in 22 games for the Moose this season. The Winnipeg, MB native and three-time Stanley Cup Champion has scored a goal and has five assists for six points and 27 penalty minutes. Keane has played a total of 1161 games in the National Hockey League in his 19-year pro career, scoring 168 goals and 302 assists for 470 points and 881 penalty minutes with Montreal, Colorado, Dallas, St. Louis, and Vancouver.
Centomo, 24, appeared in two games with the Moose this season, recording his fifth American Hockey League shutout Nov. 26/05 at Cleveland when he stopped all 15 shots he faced. Centomo won both games in which he played and has a 1.44 goals against average along with a .917 save percentage. In eight games so far this season with the Oklahoma City Blazers of the ECHL, the Laval, PQ native has a mark of 3-5-0 with a goals against average of 3.23 and a save percentage of .900.
