Moose Sign Darryl Smith To PTO

The Manitoba Moose today announced they have signed centre Darryl Smith to a professional tryout contract.

Smith, 22, has appeared in six games so far this season with the Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League. In that span, he has scored nine points (4g & 5a) and eight penalty minutes. The St. Catherines, ON native played in 60 games with Laredo last season where he accumulated 70 points (36g & 34a) and 48 penalty minutes. He has seen action in four career AHL games, all with the Houston Aeros, where he recorded four penalty minutes.
