Moose sets franchise attendance record

The Manitoba Moose announce they have set a new franchise all-time attendance record for the Sunday, April 7 game against the Grand Rapids Griffins. The Moose have sold out the Winnipeg Arena with 13,985 tickets for the final regular season match which is Fan Appreciation Day.

With this mark, the team has shattered the previous franchise all-time record for attendance. The highest attendance figure was originally established in Minnesota on April 1, 1995 when 12,772 people attended a match against Las Vegas.

This mark also smashes the existing Manitoba Moose record of 11,473 achieved on April 15, 2000. During the season, the organization posted two out of the three largest Manitoba Moose attendance figures.

This is the third sellout of the 2001-02 season and will be the ninth highest attendance in the American Hockey League this season.

2. 12,772 – Saturday, April 1, 1995 vs. Las Vegas
