
Moose Jaw Warriors top Calgary Hitmen 6-1

Calgary, AB - Dylan Hood scored a hat trick leading the Moose Jaw Warriors to a 6-1 win over the Calgary Hitmen Tuesday night at Scotiabank Saddledome.
Justin Kirsch, with his team leading 16th goal of the season, had the lone Hitmen marker.
Spencer Edwards, Cody Beach and Joey Kornelsen also scored for Moose Jaw who built period leads of 2-0 and 3-1.
Special teams played a large role as Calgary went 0-9 on the powerplay while the Warriors were 2-6.
Calgary outshot Moose Jaw 30-28 but Warriors goaltender Thomas Heemskerk made 29 saves to record the win.
The Hitmen will return to action on Thursday night to host the Brandon Wheat Kings.
Game time is 7:00 p.m. at Scotiabank Saddledome.
