Montville Hits Walk-off Home Run in Finale with Ottawa

Mike Montville crushed a solo home run to left center field in the bottom of the tenth to give the Boulders a 3-2 victory.

Travis Hissong started the game for Rockland pitching six innings and allowing just two runs. The first run came in the first inning, and he really settled down after that. Kyle Hansen got the win for the home side pitching a scoreless tenth inning.

With Rockland trailing 1-0 in the second inning Rylan Sandoval knocked in Cody Regis with a single tying the game. The next inning Conrad Gregor roped a double allowing Mike Montville to score.

Rockland's push for the playoffs continues on the road this week in Sussex and return to Palisades Credit Union Park next Friday, August 24th with the New Jersey Jackals.
