Montreal Impact Introduces Special Promotions
July 6, 2012 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL -Following a request to the public for feedback on their experiences at Stade Saputo last Friday, the organization compiled hundreds of emails and messages received via social media, and it is announcing certain measures to help improve the experience and attendance at Stade Saputo.
"We received some excellent suggestions, which confirms to us once again that the people have the Impact in their hearts," said Impact president Joey Saputo. "We felt that the general consensus of our fans was one of a positive experience, but the majority of the comments touched on the pricing of seats in Category 1. We may have been mistaken in our analysis of the market, but the reality is different and we did not want to wait to make the necessary adjustments."
"Our objective is to remain accessible and to maintain a friendly atmosphere at Stade Saputo," added Joey Saputo. "It's thanks to our supporters that we are able to bring high level players here, because for them, playing in front of large crowds is something special. We don't want to lose this advantage."
The Impact, therefore, will introduce a new set of ticket prices starting with Sunday's game against Columbus in order to attract more spectators at Stade Saputo (quantities are limited.)
Season ticket holders will also receive additional advantages; access to a private entrance to the stadium and 10% rebate at concession stands.
The international game versus Olympique Lyonnais, which is set for July 24 at Stade Saputo, will now be offered at a cost of $25, for the four first seating categories, with a pre-game promotion of $1 hot dogs.
Anyone who has already purchased tickets for this game at original prices will be credited or can purchase additional tickets.
Call 514-328-3668 to take advantage of our new prices.
