
Montoyo Tapped to Coach in MLB All-Star Futures Game

Durham Bulls Manager Charlie Montoyo was selected as a Coach for the World Team in the 2010 XM All-Star Futures Game on Sunday, July 11th at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, it was announced today. Montoyo also served as a coach during last year's game and will manage the International League All-Stars in the Triple-A All-Star Game in Lehigh Valley on Wednesday, July 14th.
Now in its 12th year, the XM All-Star Futures Game features the top Minor League prospects competing in a nine-inning contest as part of Taco Bell All-Star Sunday. The game will begin at 6:00 p.m. (EDT)/3:00 p.m. (PDT) and can be viewed live on ESPN2, ESPN2 HD and MLB.TV. Sirius XM, the Official Satellite Radio Partner of Major League Baseball, will provide play-byplay coverage of the XM All-Star Futures Game on XM 175 in addition to its other comprehensive live coverage from Anaheim. Taco Bell All-Star Sunday is the first of three days of All-Star events at Angel Stadium, culminating with the 81st All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 13th.
Other Durham Bulls at the XM All-Star Futures game include pitcher Jeremy Hellickson and outfielder Desmond Jennings, both of whom will play for the United States team.
