Despite a seven-run deficit heading into the bottom of the fifth inning the Yard Goats would score seven of their eight runs in the final four innings of play. The Yard Goats were handed their first loss after beginning the season at 3-0.
The Baysox got off to a quick start with six runs in the first inning. Mason Albright pitched two-thirds of an inning walking three consecutive batters before T.T. Bowens hit a bases clearing double. Anthony Servideo and Connor Pavolony each added RBI singles in the inning.
