Monday Night Raw Commissioner to Appear at IceHogs Game

Rockford, Ill.-The Rockford IceHogs will welcome a World Wresting Entertainment legend on Friday, January 16th when the Hogs and Quad City Mallards drop the puck. "Mankind" Mick Foley will be on hand courtesy of Insurance King, 104.9 FM, WXRX and 23WIFR, when the IceHogs take on their archrivals.

Foley will sign autographs from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Autograph pictures of Foley as well as his famous "socko" puppet will be on sale for $5. Fans can also bring memorabilia to the game to have Foley sign at no cost. Only one item per fan will be allowed.

Foley is a one of kind WWE legend who helped reform the style of wresting. Known also as Cactus Jack and Dude Love, Foley is a three time WWE Champion, and has held the WWE World Tag Team Title several times.

The IceHogs will take on the Mallards on Friday in a game that has been tagged as "Guaranteed Win Night". Rockford is guaranteeing a win over Quad City, and if the Hogs fall, every fan in attendance can turn their ticket stub in to the MetroCentre Box Office for a $7 ticket good for the Wednesday, January 21st game against the Mallards.

Tickets are on sale now at the MetroCentre Box Office or at any CentreEvents tickets outlets. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at (815) 968-5222 and start at just $7.

Next Home Game: Wednesday, January 14th vs. Muskegon Fury. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. The Fury return to the MetroCentre in another Western Conference showdown. Wednesday at the big orange box with the IceHogs means another WXRX $1 Beer Night brought to you by the Rock Station 104.9 FM.
