Fort Wayne Komets News Release

Fort Wayne, IN --- The UHL released it's revised schedule today necessitated by the Columbus Stars suspending operations Jan. 9, 2004.

The Komets had 2 games remaining on the 2003-04 schedule against Columbus before the Stars suspended operations last Thursday including a home game against the Stars Apr. 3 and a road game at Columbus Jan. 14.

In place of the 2 lost games against Columbus, the Komets have added a home game against the Kalamazoo Wings Sunday, Feb. 29 at 5:05pm and a road game at Muskegon Apr. 3 at 7:40pm. Due to the loss of the remaining Columbus games the Komets lose 2 Eastern Conference games and add 2 Western Conference games to the schedule.

Fans holding tickets to the originally scheduled Apr. 3 game vs Columbus will be able to use their tickets for the Sunday, Feb. 29 game vs Kalamazoo (Komet home game #36 on the ticket).
