
Moncton to host all star match

Moncton, NB - The Moncton Coliseum will be the site of one of two games to be played between a QMJHL all-star team and a Russian all-star team, as part of the ADT Canada-Russia Challenge series. The game will be hosted jointly between the City of Moncton and the Moncton Wildcats organization. The series will open in Drummondville, Quebec on Monday, November 21st at the Marcel Dionne Center and then move to the Moncton Coliseum on Wednesday, November 23rd. All contests will be broadcast live nationally. The Quebec all-star team will be made up of players who are eligible to be invited to the Training Camp for Canada's entry in the World Junior Hockey championships. Following the two contests against the QMJHL all-stars, the Russians will then face a similar all-star team in the OHL and the WHL. Final details of the Moncton contest and ticket information will be released at a future date.
