
Monarchs Announce Multiple Transactions

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Rich Seeley, announced today that Charles Williams has been loaned to the Hartford Wolfpack (AHL) and Zac Lynch has been loaned to the Utica Comets (AHL).
The Monarchs are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Los Angeles Kings.
Williams, 25, heads to Hartford after playing in 34 games for the Monarchs this season, posting a 19-9-3-1 record to go along with a 2.56 goals against average and a .918 save percentage. This will be the second AHL stint of the season for Williams, who was loaned to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Jan. 19, when he served as the backup goaltender.
The 5-foot-10, 194-pound native of Detroit, Mich., has played in 37 games for the Monarchs since finishing his collegiate career at Canisius College, where he was a Hobey Baker Award finalist after posting a 1.82 GAA and a .943 save percentage in his only season as a Griffin.
Lynch, 25, makes his way to Utica after playing in 55 games for the Monarchs this season, racking up 22 goals and 23 assists for 45 points. In 89 career games with the Monarchs, Lynch has totaled 40 goals and 39 assists for a total of 79 points.
The 6-foot, 190-pound native of Pittsburgh, Pa., played four years at Robert Morris University, where he played in 152 games and scored 67 goals and 90 assists for 157 points. In the 2015-16 season, Lynch was a Hobey Baker Award finalist, when he put up 25 goals and 30 assists for 55 points in 39 games his senior year.
