Moffat Recalled to the CHL

[Fayetteville, N.C.] –The Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) announced today that forward Caleb Moffat has been re-called by the Odessa Jackalopes of the Central Hockey League.

Moffat, a 6'0'' 200 pound winger out of Atlanta, Georgia, played in 30 games this season for the FireAntz. In those games he registered 5 goals, 5 assists, 142 penalty minutes and was a +6.

"Don McKee (the head coach of Odessa) called and was looking for a Caleb Moffet-type player (gritty and aggressive forward) for the weekend." Head Coach Derek Booth said, "This is an excellent opportunity for Caleb to experience hockey at a higher level and I am very happy for him to get this chance."

Moffat is slated to return to the FireAntz on Wednesday February 2nd and will miss three FireAntz games while in Odessa.
