Polar Twins' Kot named SPHL Player of the Week

Justin Kot of the Winston-Salem Polar Twins has been selected for The Southern Professional Hockey League – Sherwood Hockey "Player of the Week" award.

Last Friday night vs. the Fayetteville FireAntz, Kot, of Wayburn, SASK, capped off an outstanding evening at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem scoring in sudden death, 3 vs. 3, overtime to give the Polar Twins an exciting 3 – 2 victory in front of a sold-out crowd.

The winning goal was Kot's third of the night scoring all of Winston-Salem's goals, completing the hat trick and securing the victory for the hometown squad.
