
MNUFC Transfers Midfielder Romario Ibarra to C.F. Pachuca

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United announced today the club has completed the transfer of midfielder Romario Ibarra to Liga MX team C.F. Pachuca. MNUFC loaned Ibarra to Pachuca in May of 2019 for 13 months with a permanent transfer option following the conclusion of the loan.
Ibarra, 24, began his youth career at Club Valle del Chota in his native Ecuador in 2006 before moving to Espoli and then Universidad Católica, where he made his professional debut in 2011. He spent time with Liga de Quito in 2013, but returned to Universidad Católica in 2014. Ibarra played a total of 17 games with the Loons after joining MNUFC in July of 2018.
