
LA Galaxy Midfielder Jonathan dos Santos to Miss MLS Is Back Tournament in Orlando Due to Injury

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy announced today midfielder Jonathan dos Santos will undergo minimally invasive hernia surgery with Dr. Hutchinson tomorrow that will keep him out of the MLS is Back Tournament scheduled to take place in Orlando, Florida this month.
The midfielder will undergo the procedure at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Santa Monica. He is expected to be out for 6 weeks.
The LA Galaxy will officially return to action when they open the MLS is Back Tournament with a match against the Portland Timbers on Monday, July 13 at 7:30 pm PT live on FS1/TUDN before facing LAFC on Saturday, July 18 at 7:30 pm PT live on ESPN/ESPN Deportes and the Houston Dynamo on Thursday, July 23 at 5:00 pm PT live on FS1 and TUDN in Orlando, Fla.
