Minnesota United FC News Release
GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United announced today a multi-year landmark partnership with Element Electronics, a leading brand of TVs, monitors and sound bars. Element Electronics, headquartered in Winnsboro, South Carolina, was founded in Minnesota and has deep roots in the Twin Cities. Notably, Element assembles many of its televisions in America. When Minnesota United moves to Allianz Field, fans will experience the Element brand partnership in exciting ways, both inside and outside of the stadium throughout the entire season.
As part of the deal, the stadium's southeast entrance will be branded the Element Electronics SE Entry. "We're looking forward to welcoming the thousands of soccer fans, including local friends and neighbors, who will walk through our gate every home game," said Element Electronic founder and CEO Mike O'Shaughnessy. "Once inside, we'll make sure that fans don't miss a thing because we're installing hundreds of state-of-the-art TVs and high-impact video walls to stream real-time throughout the stadium."
The Element partnership also includes in-stadium brand activations, including product giveaways, digital displays and signage.
"This partnership is all about enhancing the MNUFC fan experience whether in Allianz Field or at home," said Minnesota United CEO Chris Wright. "We're energized by Element's commitment and ability to bring our fans closer to the action. Whether cheering on Minnesota United from their stadium seats or from their sofas at home, Element can deliver a great gameday experience."
Element Electronics joins Allianz Life, Target, Allina Health, Bell Bank and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota as a First Team Partner of Minnesota United.
Over the past two years, Minnesota United has taken a fan-first approach to building a soccer-specific stadium with safe standing for its supporters. Now, Allianz Field is complete and will offer optimal sightlines throughout the stadium, fantastic food and drink options with a local twist, and architecture designed to hold noise in and provide an atmosphere that is second-to-none in the Twin Cities.
