
MLS, Timbers Name Six Prospects to Represent Club at National Final of Sueno MLS 2016

PORTLAND, Ore. - Major League Soccer (MLS) and the Portland Timbers today announced the six finalists who will represent the club at the national final of Sueño MLS 2016 - Presented by Allstate Insurance Company.
The six finalists were discovered during tryouts, featuring hundreds of young players, held at Lents Park and Providence Park in Portland, Ore., on April 16 and April 17, joining six players selected last week at the LA Galaxy trials, and six more finalists to be selected this weekend at the New York Red Bulls trials.
The six Portland Timbers finalists are:

Celebrating its 10th year, Sueño MLS 2016 - Presented by Allstate Insurance Company is a nationally televised talent search that rewards the best field player and the top goalkeeper from all three markets with a spot on an MLS academy team. Both players will be determined during the national final, set to be held at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., from May 4-7. The winners will be announced on May 22 during Univision Deportes' weekly sports entertainment program República Deportiva.
