LA Galaxy return home to host Real Salt Lake Saturday

CARSON, Calif. - The LA Galaxy (3-1-2, 11 points) will return home this week for a match at StubHub Center against Real Salt Lake (6-0-4, 14 points) set for Saturday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. PT live on Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Time Warner Cable Deportes. Saturday's match, presented by Time Warner Cable Sports, marks #GalaxySocial Night, which will celebrate the vibrant online community that has grown around the Galaxy, their fans and their players on social media. LA Galaxy II are set to host Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 in USL action Friday, April 22, at StubHub Center at 7:30 p.m. PT.

All time, the Galaxy are 12-12-7 against Real Salt Lake in MLS Regular Season matches, including 9-6-1 in matches played at home. In their most recent contest, the Galaxy fell, 3-0, to Real Salt Lake on the road at Rio Tinto stadium in 2015. Saturday's match will mark the first of two matches this year, with LA and Salt Lake set to face again in Utah on Wednesday, Sept. 7.

This season, the Galaxy are 2-0-1 at StubHub Center, scoring eight goals while allowing just three. The Galaxy have been one of the most successful MLS teams at home during the last four seasons, scoring 125 total goals at StubHub Center, the most of any team. The Galaxy's home MLS record throughout the last four seasons is 37-5-12, with 125 goals for and just 41 against. Since 2014, the Galaxy have only lost five of the previous 54 MLS games at StubHub Center.

This weekend, the Galaxy earned a 4-1 victory over the Houston Dynamo on the road at BBVA Compass Stadium behind a brace from Giovani dos Santos and a goal apiece from Gyasi Zardes and Baggio Husidic.

As part of #GalaxySocial Night, fans can check out the LA Galaxy's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts for chances to win free tickets to the match all week long. During the April 23 match, the Galaxy will have numerous in-stadium activations including a photo booth where fans can create custom Galaxy gifs. Also, Galaxy players will warm up in custom jerseys that feature the players' social handles.
