Mississippi has new name, new game

Greenville, MS. ABA basketball returns to Mississippi with a new name - the Mississippi Miracles.
"After over twenty names were submitted to our Rename the Mississippi Stingers Rally last night at the Greenville Mall, we finally settled on a new name," stated Rev. Ronald V. Myers, Sr., M.D., Chairman of the South Delta Sports & Entertainment Group, Inc. (SDSEG), owners of the Mississippi Miracles. "The reorganization of Mississippi's only ABA basketball team has been nothing short of a miracle! Now we have to get our fans out to our first home opener next week."
The Mississippi Miracles play host to the Atlanta Vision next week on Tuesday, Feb 7 and Wenesday, Feb 8 at the Washington Convention Center in Greenville, Mississippi. Cost of tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children in advance, with an increase to $6 for adults and $3 for children at the door. "There is no doubt that this is the best sports and entertainment value ever in the Delta. Where else can you get such a great evening of exciting action for such a low cost - our give to the people of the area," added Dr. Myers.
