ABA Adds Two to All-Star Teams
Published on January 31, 2006 under American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) announced two additional players to the ABA All-Star teams for the game to be played on Saturday, February 11 at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida. According to Ricardo Richardson, ABA EVP, "These two guys are impressing everywhere they play - and they seem to be getting better as the season progresses. Good coaching and a great understanding of the exciting ABA rules that make our game the fastest paced, highest scoring, full court game in professional basketball. I can't wait to see these All-Stars playing with 3-D in Florida." They are:
East: Jamal Staten, a 6'6" guard from the Toledo Ice. West: Hai Bei Huang, a 6'9" forward from the Beijing Aoshen Olympian in Maywood, California.
Additional players will be named tomorrow as the squads begin to be filled out. For more information, visit www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
