San Antonio Missions News Release
San Antonio - The Missions returned home tonight to open up a seven-game home stand beginning with a four game series against the Frisco RoughRiders.
The Missions fell to the Frisco 3-0, as Frisco starter Joe Weiland completed a no hitter against the Missions allowing just one walk through nine innings. Joe Wieland's no hitter marks the first nine inning no hitter at Wolff Stadium.
Frisco's offense powered over San Antonio pushing across three runs through five innings off Missions starter Jose Reyes.
San Antonio now drops to 20-14 in the second-half and 69-35 overall.
Game two of the series is tomorrow night at 7:05 p.m. at Wolff Stadium. Kids can the bases after the game presented by Denny's.
