SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Missions salvaged a 3-game series against Tulsa with a 3-2 win at Nelson Wolff Stadium Tuesday evening to end their first home stand of the season. The win puts San Antonio one game behind the Midland Rockhounds in the Texas League Southern Division.

Missions starting pitcher Casey Kelly recorded a season-high seven strike outs to help hold the Drillers to two runs. San Antonio's offense was led by catcher Ali Solis who after hitting his first double-A home run on Saturday, homered again in his first at-bat. The game remained tied at two runs until a Kyle Phillips sacrifice fly to centerfield brought in James Darnell to give the Missions the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 8th inning. Pitcher Brad Brach retired Tulsa in the ninth to lock down the San Antonio victory.
