
Mirowski Named Pitcher of the Week

FARGO, ND - Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks RHP Richie Mirowski has been selected the Pointstreak American Association Pitcher of the Week for the week ending May 22. Pointstreak is the official statistician of the American Association.
Mirowski made his first start on of the season on Friday night against the Laredo Lemurs in Laredo, Texas and was electric. He pitched 7.0 innings and allowed one run on five hits while recording eleven strikeouts. Mirowski got the victory in the RedHawks 2-1 win over the Lemurs.
Mirowski is in his first season with the RedHawks in 2016 after being acquired from the Amarillo Thunderheads last fall. The Redwood City, Calif., native previously pitched in the Washington Nationals organization.
The RedHawks open a three-game series in Grand Prairie, Texas tonight against the Texas AirHogs. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. and the action can be heard on 740 AM The Fan with Jack Michaels.
