February 21, 2013 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Moncton Miracles News Release

(Moncton, NB) The Moncton Miracles have announced today with sadness that they have released 6'9" centre Boubacar Coly. Miracles ownership and management want to thank Boubacar for his contribution to the team this season as well as last season and wish him well in his future career.

Coly has the opportunity to try out for a team in Saudi Arabia, which will allow him to travel to Mecca. Traveling to this part of the world is something Boubacar has always wanted to do and will be an amazing experience.

"This shows how basketball has given players opportunities to travel around the world and experience things they have only ever dreamed of," said President Kim Blanco. "Boubacar has been a big part of this team over the last two seasons. He has assisted in mentoring Isaac Butts. He was our only player on the roster this season that spoke French who assisted in marketing to the francophone community. I wish him the best overseas."
