Miracle Put Playoff Tickets on Sale

FORT MYERS, FL (August 18, 2006) - The Fort Myers Miracle are in the midst of one of their best stretches in franchise history. During their nine game winning streak they have gone from 2.0 games back to 2.5 games in front in the Western Division. With their new found fortune the Miracle have decided to put playoff tickets on sale beginning Friday night, August 18.

Fans must purchase all three Miracle potential home games, game one of the Western Division Championship Series and games one and two of the Championship round, as a package. The package is $18 for box seats and $12 for general reserve. Tickets will be held by credit card only and refunds will be given if all games aren't played. Tickets can be purchased on an individual game basis beginning at 2 p.m. on the day of September 5. Box seats will be $7 while general reserve is $5. Group tickets, picnics and suites will be on a first come, first serve basis.

The Western Division playoffs are a best of three series beginning on Tuesday, September 5 and going through Thursday, September 7. If the Miracle get in the playoffs, game one would be at Hammond Stadium with games two and if necessary game three at Knology Park in Dunedin. The Blue Jays host games two and three by virtue of winning the first half Western Division Championship.

If both the Western and Eastern Division Series are two game sweeps the best of five Championship round would begin on Thursday, September 7, however if one of the series goes the distance the Championship round begins on Friday, September 8. The Western Division team will host game one and two with the Eastern Division Champ hosting games three through five.
